| Tony Holt - Charity Bike Ride |

We'd like to offer our congratulations to one of our Finance Consultants, Tony Holt, and his partner Leigh for completing a gruelling bike ride in Scotland through wind and rain for the charity "Guide Dogs For The Blind". The ride was a daunting 60 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh which took over 6 hours to complete and unfortunately saw the worst rain the event had experienced in years. However, despite the adversity, Tony and Leigh have managed to raise an impressive £403 pounds so far for their charity and had this to say following their ride: "We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that sponsored us! Your generosity is what kept our little legs pedalling through the torrential rain and high winds. We won't deny that it was painful and at times we wanted to chuck the bikes in the canal, but once we saw the pub at the finish line all that pain was forgotten! It was a great day organised by a fantastic guide dog owner who really made us realise just what a worthwhile cause it is. The amount we have raised so far (around £400) is enough to feed a guide dog for a year, provide a guide dog harness/lead/collar and bell, as well as provide four white canes! Guide Dogs can only provide blind and partially sighted people with the services they need because of generous donations such as yours." Well done Tony and Leigh!
